A netizen created girl group ranking list was recently posted on an online community board and is attracting much attention.
The 2012 February edition of the photo ranking list was posted online with the title, “A girl group ranking just to look at for fun“, and the various girl groups were arranged based on their domestic and oversea activities.
The highest ranked group overall was Girls’ Generation who is receiving much success in Japan, Europe, and America. The creator of the list placed Girls’ Generation above the marked line that denoted the ‘insurmountable 4D wall (on another level)’, while 2NE1 was placed slightly below it with their European and domestic activities.
T-ara, Wonder Girls, and KARA were placed on the next level for “Japan and Asia” as all three girl groups are busy promoting within Asia. Because this level only focused on their Asian activities, the Wonder Girls placed a bit lower than T-ara and not including their American activities.
On a tier below for domestic popularity were f(x), miss A, and Brown Eyed Girls as they were primarily popular domestically in Korea. SISTAR, Secret, After School, and 4Minute placed in the “High Class” level, while the rising popularity ranking at the end of the list were A Pink, Girls’ Day, Rainbow, and Dal Shabet.
Do you think the netizen got the order correctly?
